September 2021 - SolStein Mint
During the NFT bull run of 2021, the SolSteins were born. A collection of 2,222 scientifically generated, unique, crazy and collectible characters, this NFT collection was an ode to the great theoretical physicist: Albert Einstein.
November 3, 2021 - Alpha Release
Shortly after minting Solsteins, the developers began working on a new project: Yawww -- an automated escrow platform for safely trading Solana NFTs. In the Alpha release, individuals were able to trade one NFT at a time for another, with the option to include a bit of SOL on the side.
December 12, 2021 - RPS Game Release
The Rock-Paper-Scissors game allowed people to stake SOL in a "double-or-nothing" battle against a Quantum Trader (i.e., random number generator).
December 15, 2021 - Over 200 verified projects
In Yawww Alpha, we manually reviewed and verified hundreds of NFT collections to make them safe to trade in a scam-proof, fraud-resistant way.
January 6, 2022 - Quantum Trader Mint
What better way to kick-off the year than with a new mint? We used the new QT collection to expand our community, growing from about 250 unique holders to over 4,000! There were 1,111 QTs given away as a free airdrop to 50% of the SolSteins.
January 17, 2022 - Beta Release
We finally released the Beta version of the app, enabling multi-NFT trading as well as cash deal trades (i.e., buying/selling an NFT for SOL).
Jan 23, 2022 - Death Roll Game Release
Our second game was a throwback to the World of Warcraft dice game, a war of attrition in which the odds of losing increase with each roll. This game used "double-or-nothing" staking and playing against the Quantum Trader (i.e, RNG).
February 8, 2022 - Over 1,000 verified projects
We successfully reviewed and verified over 1,000 NFT collections, including special whitelist tokens and some utility tokens (e.g., $USDC, $RAY).
February 10th - 24th, 2022 - Team Work Trip
To celebrate our progress and achievements (and to work 3x harder), the entire Yawww team flew to an island from all over the world (Denmark, Netherlands, Estonia, Singapore, and America) to get together for a working vacation.
During this team-building work trip, we finished and released a platform redesign, user profiles with Discord integration, Dynamic Trade Listings, and began laying the foundation for the QuantumDAO.
February 16, 2022 - Platform Upgrade & Redesign
While the redesign seemed like a small step, it was a big precursor to pave the way for future developments and new features. In the redesign, we added unique personal profiles with Discord integration, allowing users to start a private chat with others to easily find and negotiate deals.
February 21, 2022 - Dynamic Trade Listings
The biggest bottleneck in OTC trading has been finding individuals to trade with. In the past, traders would have to spam Discord channels with "Looking to trade!" Now, they can list their NFTs for discoverability and others can find them and connect through a Discord private thread.
